When fully realized, ICS, in conjunction with local public schools, will provide Staten Island parents of special needs children with an array of options which is richer than that enjoyed by any other community in the United States.
The successful candidate will serve as the Data Instructional Coach and will work closely with school and network leaders to allow for data driven decision making and monitoring the health of the organization.
Reporting to the Director of Program Evaluation, the Data Instructional Coach will analyze and present data, create dashboards and track implemented programs. The individual will manage all network and State assessments. In addition to working with leaders, the individual will work closely with other members of the program evaluation team, as well as other shared services.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Analyze and present data to school and district leaders
- Track school and district programs and provide data related updates
- Development and maintenance of school performance dashboards that are aligned to the organization’s performance management framework key metrics
- Run monthly district and school data meetings
- Convenes regular meetings with school-based data managers to provide professional development
- Compile longitudinal data sets linking historical standardize test score data, internal assessments, and other academic or non-academic data elements
- Order, print, and scan all network assessments
- Create testing groups based on student need and school parameters
Candidate should possess the following:
- Master’s degree with at least 9 credits in STEM
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to meet established deadlines
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to interpret and explain data
- Experience in K-12 education
- Proficient in MS Excel/PowerBI
- Proficient in Google Suites
