Who we are:
Einhorn Collaborative is a nonprofit foundation dedicated to addressing America’s growing crisis of connection. At the core of our work is a deep commitment to collaboration and an unwavering belief that we can reverse the prevailing narratives of distrust, division, and dehumanization. To do so, as a small and dedicated team, we are driven by the following values:

  • Relationships are paramount to us, and we prioritize human connection in all our endeavors. We approach others with curiosity, compassion, and respect, emphasizing the value of trust in building true partnerships and collaborations.
  • We believe that collective efforts yield better outcomes, and we actively seek diverse perspectives to complement our skills and knowledge. By working together, we can find common ground and generate more impactful ideas.
  • We embody the principles we promote in our interactions with funding peers and nonprofit partners. We offer support, resources, and networking opportunities while empowering our grantee partners to define their own actions and metrics for success.
  • Our aim is to achieve transformational impact by spreading core insights about human connection and belonging across systems and communities. We prioritize learning and improvement, and we adapt our strategies based on real-world lessons.
  • We’re committed to each other, the work, and the journey. In order to help build a culture of connection and belonging, we recognize the work we must do as individuals to reflect on our nation’s history, understand our biases, and routinely engage with perspectives different from our own to help inform, shape, and guide our work and our worldview. What’s the work?

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Strategy Lead will assume leadership of the Bridging strategy, developing deep relationships with peers and partners, and will identify, manage, and support all active and potential partnerships. This involves sourcing, recommending, and managing multi-year philanthropic partnerships, establishing co-funding opportunities with peers, developing and managing impact measurement strategies, and providing support to grantee partners to ensure they have what they need to succeed.

The current strategy focuses on increasing bridging experiences in three key areas: active civics in middle and high schools, community-engaged learning in higher education (with emphasis on our partnership with Cornell University), and national service as a model to develop future leaders. We seek to actively engage Gen Z across all these areas to amplify their voices and increase their interest, demand, and participation in these opportunities. After the first year or so, the Lead will have the opportunity to develop the strategy’s next iteration based on assessment across our current efforts.

Candidates who advance in the selection process will receive more detailed information about the organization and overall Bridging strategy.
