Job Description
Teacher is responsible for planning and implementation of age appropriate activities that foster the cognitive emotional and physical growth of young children which is inclusive of children with special needs. The teacher must ensure that the classroom and classroom staff follows regulations set forth in the Head Start Performance Standards, the Employee Hand Book, and licensing requirements. The teacher must provide opportunities for the integration of other service areas (health,mental, nutrition safety) the teacher is responsible for written and oral communication to the Master Teacher, which includes weekly lesson plans, written reports, anecdotal, screenings and assessments.
Qualifications
B.A. in Early Childhood Education
CE, CEAS, Provisional, Pre-School thru Grade 3 (P3) New Jersey State Certification
