POSITION: SCHOOL COUNSELOR – HIGH SCHOOL
LOCATION: MANITOU SPRINGS HIGH SCHOOL
401 EL MONTE PLACE
MANITOU SPRINGS, CO 80829
REQUIREMENTS:
- Current valid Colorado license with appropriate endorsement(s)
- Fingerprint/background screening required
- Create, Develop and Manage 504 plans
- Develop Parent and Family communication and engagement opportunities
- College & Career Planning: ICAP, Common Application, Naviance, Work-Based Learning, concurrent enrollment and NCAA requirements
- Experience with therapeutic intervention
- Experience with threat assessments
- Experience assisting with college search/application/scholarship process
- Experience with student schedule development: Master Scheduling and student based 4 year planning
- Other duties as assigned
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 2022-2023 School Year (189-day contract)
