High School Physics/Physical Science Teacher

Elizabeth High School has an opening for a science teacher.  Primary courses taught will be physics and forensic science.

$37,502 – $56,438

Qualifications:

• A current CDE license (or ability to obtain) with appropriate endorsements in secondary science education
• Ability to effectively deliver pertinent curriculum with emphasis on physics and physical science
• Passion and expertise to work with high school students
• Ability to work collaboratively within a strong department team and faculty

Job Description:

This is a full-time position beginning in August 2022 and is open until filled.  The science department offers core and elective classes for grades 9-12 with a range of levels.  Teachers in the science education department specialize in content areas but support each other across the curriculum.  A typical schedule generally includes two to three preparations.
