Operations / Administration Part Time Van Driver
Job Description
- Transportation: Safely operate CT vehicles when transporting students, chaperone student activities as needed, and support daily driving needs.
- Van Maintenance: Support the Operations Manager with Van Maintenance and fuel needs.
- This is a part-time, hourly position and is not eligible for benefits at this time. The Van Driver will work Tuesday – Thursday, most likely during student programming hours (2pm-4pm), during the school year, with 2 weeks unpaid break in December. Compensation will be $15.87-$20 per hour. This is a seasonal position and will end in Mid-May.Qualifications
First and foremost, the Transportation coordinator must embrace College Track’s vision of transforming low-income communities into places where college readiness and college graduation are the norms. Additionally, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Clean driving record and a safe driver at all times
- Pass the Safe Driving requirements at College Track
- Exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, ability to manage a wide range of tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative, community-minded attitude
- Outstanding problem-solving skills
- Strong learning orientation, readily receives and incorporates direct feedback
- Goal-oriented and strong commitment to reaching goals
- Additional Requirements:
- Employee will need to pass College Track Driver’s safety Training prior to first day of programming
- College Track requires that the holder of this position be fully vaccinated, and boosted (if eligible), against COVID-19, as defined by the CDC. College Track will require proof of vaccination and a booster shot from all future employees. New hires who are booster eligible but have not yet received the booster shot will have 60 days from their date of hire to do so.
