Job Description
Legacy Academy is a K-8 Charter School in Elizabeth, CO. Legacy has a technology focus and is looking for teachers who can join our innovative team. We are seeking a Before & After Care Coordinator to join our team. This teacher needs to be proficient in their content area(s), willing to maintain and enrich their expertise, as well as possessing strong skills for the integration of technology in the classroom.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain effective working relationships and communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and administrators.
- Assist with training, supervision, and evaluation of Before and After Care program assistants, substitutes, and volunteers.
- Participate and assist with planning monthly Before and After Care staff meetings and training.
- Assist with building program enrollment, collecting on past due accounts.
- Maintains a list of substitutes and requests for subs when needed.
- Maintain day to day operations – cleaning schedule, manage attendance records, receive and log payments
- Encourage and interact in daily creative play, educational activities, and homework assistance.
Skills & Abilities Required:
Knowledge of child growth and development. Ability to problem-solve and facilitate restorative practices with challenges and conflicts both with students and guardians. Excellent human relations skills. Effective communication.
Job Qualifications:
Documentation of experience in supervising children ages 5-14. Familiarity with the state regulations for child care programs.
Reports to: Before and After Care Director and Principal
Salary: $15 – $20/hr based on experience and qualifications.
