Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Hiring Salary Range: $129,770 – $155,724 per year

About the Role:
Reporting to the Superintendent, the CFO oversees the Financial Services Department, leading budget development, payroll, benefits, and long-term financial planning. This role ensures fiscal compliance, manages financial reporting, and supervises the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the district’s budget, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Provide financial planning, cash management, and risk assessment.
• Ensure compliance with audits, legal policies, and state regulations.
• Oversee employee benefits, purchasing, and capital improvement planning.
• Serve as a key advisor to the Superintendent and Board of Education.

Qualifications:

• Degree in finance, accounting, business management, or related field (CPA preferred).
• Experience in K-12 education finance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.

Supervises: Finance team, including accountants, payroll, and grants.
