Job Description

The Director of Elementary Education will work collaboratively with the Director of Secondary Education to oversee all decisions, planning, and coordination of resources, professional development, and instructional practices in the district.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• MA degree in pertinent academic area
• Hold or be Eligible to Hold a Colorado Teaching Certificate
• Colorado Type D certificate or Administrator License Preferred
• Five (5) years of successful administrative or equivalent leadership experience
• Demonstrated effective problem solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge Second Language Acquisition regulations and strategies for services
• Collaborative problem solver
• Extensive experience with curriculum development, assessment and models of instruction
