Job Description

Peak to Peak Charter School, located in Lafayette, Colorado, is one of the premier charter schools in Colorado’s Boulder Valley School District.  This K-12 college preparatory school serves more than 1,400 students and is nationally recognized as one of the most successful public schools in the country.

Peak to Peak seeks an exceptionally qualified strategic leader to join the school’s unique two-person executive team.  The Executive Director of Operations is charged with overseeing all non-instructional matters while partnering with the Executive Director of Education who is responsible for the academic success of the school.

 

The Executive Director of Operations maintains accountability to the Board of Directors, plays an important leadership role and thinks strategically to leverage non-instructional services to maximize student learning. The Executive Director of Operations oversees the daily non-instructional operations of the school excluding any curricular components directly related to the students and teachers, which remain the purview of the Executive Director of Education. Working closely with the board, the Executive Director of Operations oversees all financial, operational and facilities-related components of the school. This person reports to the board of directors and serves as a non-voting ex-officio member of that board.
