POSITION: SCHOOL COUNSELOR FOR GIFTED EDUCATION SUPPORT (6 – 12)
COLLEGE & CAREER EDUCATIONAL LIAISON

REQUIREMENTS:
- Current valid Colorado Department of Education license with appropriate school counselor endorsement(s)
- Gifted Endorsement Preferred
- Fingerprint/background screening required
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gifted Education Counselor (Grades 6 – 12)
- Create, Develop and Manage Advanced Learning Plans
- Develop Parent and Family communication and engagement opportunities
- Develop community partnerships
- College & Career Planning
- Personal education consultant/liaison (Grades 6 – 12)
- Section 504 case management (as needed)
- Program development/public relations
- Gifted Education Program Enrichment opportunities (Grades 6 – 12)
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 2021 – 2022 School Year, 189 Days
SALARY: See certified salary schedule (on website)
SITUATION: Grades 6 – 12
