LICENSED TEACHER VACANCY
INR SCIENCE TEACHER – FALCON HIGH SCHOOL

Starting Date: When Filled
New Teacher/Licensed Staff Orientation:
New teaching/new licensed staff orientation will be held on July 23, 26 and 27, 2021
Experience:
District 49 credits each year of verified full-time/full-year K-12 teaching experience up to 15 years.
Work Schedule:
Prorated based on start date

Salary Range:
The minimum starting pay is $39,384*/year and the maximum salary is $62,988*/year. Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant experience (the maximum credit granted is 15 years).

Qualifications and Expectations:
  1. BA/BS from accredited college or university
  2. Valid Colorado teaching license endorsed in area of assignment: Secondary Science OR
    1. a valid CO licensed endorsed in another area AND passing exam scores on the PRAXIS II – exam #5435 (or #0435) only OR
    2. a valid CO license endorsed in another area and 24 or more semester hours in Science – HR to review transcripts and make determination OR
    3. a valid CO license endorsed in another area and a BA/BS or higher major in Science – HR to review transcripts and make determination
