SUMMARY:
| The Instructional Coach will enhance instructional practices, contribute to curriculum development, and influence the professional growth of teachers. The focus will be on providing targeted support across content areas, ensuring alignment with state and local assessments. This position will involve collaboration with teachers, administrators, and interventionists to enhance instructional strategies, foster classroom innovation, and improve student outcomes. The Instructional Coach will serve as the District Assessment Coordinator and manage all Weld RE-1 state assessments, including training, assessment platforms and logistics, accommodations, reporting and test security. This position will communicate with the Colorado Department of Education and various testing contractors. |

EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Masters Degree (Preferred)
- Successful experience as an instructor
- Successful experience as an instructional coach
- Successful experience leading and promoting professional growth among adults
- Must have Current CDE teaching license
TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
- Interest in coaching teachers in a public-school setting.
- Knowledge of best practice in assessment, instruction strategies, and current research.
- Ability to analyze data and formulate instruction to maximize achievement for students with diverse abilities.
- Ability to work with adult learners through delivery of professional development.
- Assist in supporting ML learners and assuring to the greatest extent possible communication to families of students in their native language.
