Operations / Administration Manager of Resident Development, Southern Front Range
Job Description
As the Manager of Resident Development, you will play a crucial role in supporting Teacher Residency program participants in the Southern Front Range on their journey to becoming effective classroom teachers. As a Manager of Resident Development, you will work alongside a dynamic team of educators, guiding residents through a year-long residency program that equips them with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions essential for successful teaching careers.
Managers of Resident Development work alongside a team of educators to develop and facilitate licensure coursework for residents during our year-long residency program. Managers of Resident Development also engage in regular coaching cycles with residents to facilitate their growth in applying educational theory to practice. Managers of Resident Development exhibit the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues, deliver relevant and engaging facilitation, and have rich classroom experiences to draw from in order to support residents in successfully transferring theory into practice. This position reports to the Director of Curriculum and Instruction and the Director of School Partnerships and Innovative Programming.
This is a 0.8 FTE position based in Colorado Springs or the surrounding area in a hybrid work setting. Please note travel to schools in a several-hour driving radius is part of the role. Additionally, there will be occasional evening/weekend commitments.
Salary: $55,000 – 65,000
