Our Position – SPECTRA is a Licensed Facility School in Broomfield that serves children ages 6-21 with ASD and other developmental disabilities. We are recruiting an energetic and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team. The OT performs evaluations, intervention planning, monitoring, and transition of student with disabilities that interfere with occupational performance. Professional judgement and clinical knowledge are used to assist in the development of programming based on occupation performance deficits in a wide variety of areas such as personal care, adaptive daily living skills, play, fine motor skills, handwriting, sensory processing, motor-sequencing, assistive technology, and adaptive equipment.

SPECTRA utilizes an interdisciplinary approach to meet the needs of our students. As such, the OT works collaboratively with other members of the school clinical team (SLPs, BCBAs, Social Workers) as well as special education teachers to meet the children’s needs.

Our Salary Range – $75,000.00 – $87,874.45 based upon previous experience.

Staff Schedule – M-F, 8:00am to 4:30pm

Qualifications

• Have successfully completed and graduated from accredited Occupational Therapy program and have completed all fieldwork requirements
• Licensure in the State of Colorado as an Occupational Therapist
• Licensed with the Colorado Department of Education (or willing to obtain licensure)
• Preferably at least one year of experience as an OT, or direct experience with ASD population
• Conduct evaluations and assessments
• Generate clear and effective treatment plans geared towards individual needs.
