Job Title:  Therapeutic Learning (Emotional Support) Classroom Teacher

We are seeking a committed and passionate Special Education Teacher to lead our Therapeutic Learning Classroom serving students in the lower grades. This specialized classroom is designed for young learners with emotional support needs who benefit from a highly individualized and structured learning environment. The teacher will provide differentiated instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals, implement functional academic and life skills programming, and collaborate closely with families, related service providers, and support staff. This is a mission-driven role for an educator who believes in the potential of all children, embraces inclusive education, and values a nurturing, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive approach to teaching.

Job Title:  Special Education Teacher

We are looking for passionate special education teachers to join our team. The Special Education Teacher is responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.  The Special Education Teacher collaborates with other educators, parents and outside service providers to design and deliver instruction that meets the unique academic, social and emotional needs of each student.  The Special Education Teacher adapts teaching methods and materials to accommodate a variety of learning styles and abilities, and provides accommodations and modifications as needed to support student success.  The Special Education Teacher also monitors student progress, maintains accurate records, and participates in the evaluation and revision of IEPs as necessary.  The Special Education Teacher stays current with best practices in special education and works to ensure that the school’s special education program is effective and meets the needs of all students with disabilities.
