Summary of Essential Functions:

  • Continued development, innovation, research and promotion of curriculum and programs to teach and develop social emotional learning, intra and interpersonal relationships, civic engagement and leadership, community service, personal finance, organizational leadership, entrepreneurial mindset and execution to K-8th grade students, parents, colleagues and strategic community partners.
  • Program assessment and impact measure.
  • Active team member in the Aspen Ventures Team and manage Leadership Coach.
  • Develop and deliver Educator and Parent learning / training opportunities on topics above.
  • Aspen Youth Leadership budget management and fundraising for the institute.
  • Leadership co-curricular and extra-curricular current and future programming
  • Lead, manage and provide accountability measures for Leadership coach, with oversight on all ancillary and co-curricular leadership programs: Bear Student Enterprises (BSE), Service Learning, Mentor/Mentee, Student Civic Organization and others.
  • Coordinate activities across Aspen Academy to build key partnerships and relationships in the youth leadership and entrepreneurial development community.

Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university. Master’s degree preferred.
    • Leadership Coaching, Business Development and Management, Youth Coaching and/or education.
  • Preferred: Educational leadership, program design/management, assessment, curriculum development.
  • Grant permission for a criminal background check upon hire.
  • Meet physical demands to perform essential functions of the role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions: Ability to work full-time, including some evenings and weekends; work in person/in the school building. Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch.  Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; occasionally life up to 50 pounds.

Compensation Package:

Aspen Academy offers an excellent compensation package including health, dental, 403(b) with matching and more; wide-ranging opportunities for professional development; and a talented and dedicated staff of teaching professionals and supportive administrators. This is a year-round position.

Salary Range: Starting $65,000-$80,000 (commensurate with experience)
