ADMINISTRATIVE VACANCY
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF LEARNING SERVICES

School District 49 is searching for a proven, innovative K-12 leader to join our team as Executive Director of Learning Services.  The Executive Director of Learning Services (EDLS) will support district administrators by serving as the primary leader for Learning Services departments. In addition to leading all functions of the Learning Services Department, the EDLS provides leadership, support and consultation for a portfolio of 25 district-operated, authorized charter, and alternative and online schools related to curriculum, instruction, assessment, educational technology, and professional development.

The EDLS’ duties include designing and communicating policies, practices and procedures; facilitating and monitoring department objectives, projects and timelines; creating and communicating data/information; participating in budget development and monitoring; supervising staff; and ensuring the district is in compliance with state accreditation regulations.

Highly qualified candidates will demonstrate both breadth and depth of experience in K-12 education, exceptional collaboration skills, advanced communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset.

Benefits: This position is eligible for benefits including group insurance (health, dental and vision), paid sick and personal leave and elective retirement savings plans. Benefit details can be found here.
Salary Range: The minimum starting pay is $109,000/year and the maximum starting pay is $119,000/year. Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant experience (the maximum credit granted is 15 years).
