Beyond Basics is a non-profit literacy support initiative based in Detroit, MI.  We are dedicated to providing intensive literacy interventions in the Detroit Public Schools and surrounding communities.  Beyond Basics offers a research based, scientifically supported instructional methodology that has proven to be highly effective in literacy development.  Testing personnel is needed to assess students prior to tutoring and also after the tutoring sequence has ended.  Schedules are variable with both full- and part-time options available.
