Operations / Administration Director of Federal Programs

Job Description

The Director of Federal Programs is responsible for the overall implementation of State and Federal Programs for Hamilton County Schools. Under the supervision of the Chief of the Staff, the incumbent will oversee the planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting required in all state and federal funding projects contained in the Consolidated Application. The Director will lead the Federal Programs team to support school leaders and teaching and learning staff with budgeting and planning for Title I, Title IIA, Title III, Title IV, Family Resource Centers and 21st Century and other related federal or state funding. The goal of the office will be to ensure that all spending meets compliance guidelines and aligns to district Future Ready 2023! strategic plan and school improvement plans. In addition, the supervision of other categorical programs may be included in the duties of the Director of Federal programs as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • Master’s degree required.
  • Minimum of (10) years previous experience in public administration and five (5) years experience administering federal title or grant funding/consolidated funding applications or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
